I came down here and managed to find this absolute gem of a restaurant. Their prices are more than fair (cheaper than a Big Mac meal) and the quality is top notch. I got their 6oz burger and it was phenomenal. The atmosphere makes me feel at home in this small city.

I did like the service. A waitress named Jennifer was very nice and accommodating. But put up a negative sign from the manager towards his customers, stating that they will not accommodate customers on food orders. Stating that you will take your orders my way. Or don't order the damn thing. Very offensive. Never returned since. P.S. Best of wishes to Jennifer.

I used Google Assistant and search for breakfast restaurant near me and this restaurant popped up. My brother and I both ordered 2 biscuits and sausage gravy. He had grits and country ham. While I had cheese grits and bacon. The biscuits and the gravy were made from scratch and reminded me of home. The grits weren't quite cooked all the way but we did get there as they opened, so I would assume that was the reason. The bacon and ham were cooked and tasted just right. Their sweet tea would give Chick-fil-A a run for their money. It was less than $20 for both of us and we both had Togo boxes. If you are ever in Sweetwater, TN I highly recommend Fat Hats Grill for a great home cooked breakfast at a cheap price.

Best burger in town, and the friendliest staff. The owners daughter, Emily, came by and did some card tricks for us while we waited on our food, and we had a blast. It was, by far, the best experience we've had out in a while! 💜

Today was our 2nd visit to Fat Hats Grill. I had a meat lovers omelet about a month ago or so and it was pretty tasty so we decided to stop by for another one. We got there 10 minutes to late for breakfast, so I ordered a BLT off the lunch side of the menu and home fries. My wife had a burger and orings. The BLT was a basically some burnt bacon crumbs with lettuce and a slice of tomato on small pieces of toast, it was pretty gross. The burger was below average, not much taste really. The home fries had zero seasoning and the onion rings tasted like old oil. I used the restroom before leaving, it was nasty as a bad 24 hour gas station bathroom. I didn't complain about anything to anyone, we decided just to never return to Fat Hats. It's a shame, we prefer mom and pops restaurants. The waitress seemed nice, that was the only positive about the visit.
